Saltwater Series
The Saltwater Series of pastels were inspired by my love of swimming in the ocean. Lots of reference photographs were taken while swimming in the sea ,with a water housing on my phone. I was particularly interested in capturing the visual excitement of the refraction of sunlight on the body and water. I hope you can feel the saltwater on your skin and the coolness of the waves washing over you!
